****BUYER BEWARE****
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NEWPORT MOTORS, NOW KNOWN AS "XCITE MOTORS"
I traded in my vehicle at this location. On the drive home, I realized that the gas gauge is defective, the engine warning light system came on, a strange whirring sound from the dash started. I called the dealership as soon as I got home. No one would return my calls. Finally, two days later, I spoke with Pat Bender who told me they would make things right. He told me he would call the next morning. Two days later, I am still waiting for his call. In addition, they charged me $2000.00 worth of FEES and charges at 29.90% interest.
I tried to return the vehicle. They wouldn't take it. I took it to a franchise dealership to get rid of it. Once there, I found out that NEWPORT MOTORS/ AKA XCITE MOTORS knowingly sold a car to me with a FRAUDULENT CARFAX. The vehicle had been involved in a SEVERE ACCIDENT which was NOT on their copy of the Carfax.
These guys will LIE through their teeth. They will take advantage of you. They are NEVER available when you call them. They are the SHADIEST CROOKS. Please, please do NOT let this happen to you!!!!!!!!!
