I am trying to move, and I have a Ford Explorer 2000. But I find out that UHAUL will not rent a Trailer to a Ford Explorer. They will not give me a definite answer and I am just curious why.

I doubt it's because your car. I have seen MANY UHaul trailers rented by the likes of a Ford Taurus or Chevy Monte Carlo. I would go to another rental place or go back when someone else is there, request rental and then ask (or demand) WHY they won't rent it to you. Here's a quick question, how old are you? Under 23 by chance?

I just learned that a number of rental companies will not rent to Ford Explorer owners due to the Firestone tires issue. The red flag was apparently raised during the height of the crisis but it was never removed from their system even though the issue is pretty much resolved.
